nothing quite like…

… a freshly caked skein of yarn.

Now that I’ve finally finished the Galileo mystery socks I can finally cast on for the March mystery socks in the UK Sock Knitters group!

Thanks, I love this yarn :)
Lovely! I was thinking of joining the mystery sock knitters but I would never keep up....I'll just enjoy your progress and put the patterns in my favourites in Ravelry for later on :-)

I hardly ever keep up! I think I've only ever finished a mystery on time two or three times. That's why I like the Solid Socks mysteries, they last 2 months so I feel like I at least have a chance of finishing! Especially since I usually cheat a little and wait until the week or two of clues have been released so that I can gauge whether I want to knit it or not :)
What a purty colour....! It will make lovely socks. :)

Thanks! The more I work with it, the more I love it. I think I'm becoming a bit obsessed :P
Loving your pictures, wish I could get them that large/with rounded corners :)

Thanks :) Part of me wishes I could say that the rounded corners involved some skill on my part, but I use Windows LiveWriter to write my posts and the rounded corners is just a feature of that! It's just the click of a button. Easy as pie :)
